To Join Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together, and you can be a part of it! Whether you're a girl in small rural community who wants to be a Girl Scout, a college student working on a community service project or a volunteer ready to share your technology expertise, Girl Scouts has something for you. There are lots of ways to join in the fun…contact us and we'll show you how!
With more than 500 Girl Scout troops, Girl Scouts of the Rio Grande serves girls in an eight county region in West Texas and Southern New Mexico. The Council offers volunteer opportunities, free training for leaders, maintains Council facilities, and provides activities and events for more than 5,500 girls and almost 2,300 adults who are registered members of Girl Scouts.
Girl Scout Membership is open to all girls—regardless of racial, ethnic, religious or socioeconomic background—between the ages of five and 17 who make the Girl Scout Promise, accept the Girl Scout Law, and pay annual membership dues of $10 or request financial assistance.
